Attorneys at Law BDO Zelmenis&Liberte has become the only law firm in Latvia that this year received the ACQ Law Awards that are awarded by the international ACQ Magazine.

This year, the Latvian practicing law firms could receive awards in three nominations – the Best law firm in merger and acquisition transactions, the Best law firm in the area of corporate taxes as well as the Best law firm in the area of construction. All three awards were granted to the Attorneys at Law BDO Zelmenis&Liberte.

Head of the judging panel Anthony Corbin said: “Choosing winners this year has been especially difficult as ACQ readers nominated in unprecedented numbers for firms who are clearly doing outstanding work worldwide. It’s refreshing to see several smaller firms among the winners as it proves that biggest is not invariably best and the law industry is an open field.”

ACQ Magazine is an internationally recognized magazine, which specializes in M&A (mergers and acquisitions) transactions. It is published since 2003 and its audience is up to 32 thousand subscribers worldwide. Every year, the ACQ readers choose many law firms throughout the world to reward, evaluating their professionalism in various fields of activity, thus helping the judging panel and adding additional value to the awards.
